Why I hate the term “Pegasister” with a burning passion

I hate the term pegasister with a burning passion. The term pegasister includes only one race: The Pegasi. Pegasi are not the only pony race out there. My favorite pony is Applejack and guess what? She’s an Earth pony.
The word Pegasister automatically signals out people as a female.
The term is very girly. I hate wearing makeup, and dresses. I am not girly at all.
I also hate the sexism that comes with the term. The term Brony came first and was defined as: An Adult that loves My Little Pony Friendship is magic.
Notice the lack of gender. It wasn’t until season 2 that guys decided to steal the term and change the definition to being for males only.
Now I know what you’re thinking: The word Brony has the word Bro in it.
Only the word bro is gender-neutral just like the word dude. No one says bro-ette nor is the term dudette used anymore.
Also the word Brony doesn’t refer to just one race of pony nor does it refer to a gender.
I am an adult. Pegasister just sounds childish. Not to mention, it is a free country. I have the right to say and use whatever term I would like.
I hate the term "Pegasister" with a burning passion. Here's why I hate it.
